I’m into Week 3 of my Thrift + Vintage Spring Challenge. For the month of March I’ve worn only thrifted or vintage items to work. This week finally introduced spring (ish) weather.
I’m missing my days of throwing on my washed gray Everyone jeans and a top but this pair of Gap corduroy pants ($4) did the trick for an easy Monday outfit. Total so far: $150
This was my first “free” day as I have worn all of these pieces separately in previous weeks. It also is the first time my legs have seen daylight this year. It was wonderful!
Today I added a new pair of sandals($4) to celebrate the first day of spring. It was a balmy 45 F in Iowa. I wore the dress in Week 1. Total so far: $155.
Thursday was a rough day and I didn’t feel well at all. Having an entirely free outfit (I’ve worn all of these items before) raised my spirits a bit.
Friday= Overalls day. I love, love, overalls and look forward to casual (or, more casual than usual) day all week. I paired it with a floral t-shirt ($4) bringing my total for the month to just $159.
My goal is to have more free days next week and keep my total for the month below $200. That was my goal initially but it sounded way too ambitious.

I’ve really enjoyed your Thrift Vintage fashions. I thrift for fabric already, thanks to your Mom, and this encourages me to look more at the clothing. There is always a lot of yarn too btw.
